Live Tweets from my Kindle (Twindle)


I couldn't decide whether to call my new blog  feature "Twindle" or "Kwitter". I've decided to go with Twindle. Tacky, I know, but I'm just a geek at heart.

The latest Kindle software has the ability to share the annotations and highlighted passages from the book you're reading via Facebook and/or Twitter. Since I hate Facebook with a passion, I plan on sharing live notes and highlights directly from my Kindle using Twitter.

You can view the "as-I'm-reading" updates by looking at the upper-right section of this website, or by going to my Twitter page. Clicking the link in the tweet will take you to my shared note/highlight on Amazon's Kindle website (along with a pretty picture of what particular book it pertains to). Rest assured it will probably be meaningless drivel, but I promise to do my best to avoid any spoiler-ish information.

Stupid use of social networking?? You be the judge.
