John Scalzi's Metatropolis Will Soon be Available for the Common Man

I'm just not into audio-books, so I didn't get to read (hear?) this anthology (edited by John Scalzi) when it was originally released. I also didn't have the cash-ish to shell out when Subterranean Press released their limited edition last year. So, I'm happy to discover that Tor Books will be releasing a Hardcover/Kindle version (June 8, 2010) that will be accessible to Joe Reader.
Editor Scalzi and four well-known writers thoughtfully postulate the evolution of cities, transcending postapocalyptic clichés to envision genuinely new communities and relationships.
Table of Contents:
- "In the Forests of the Night" - by Jay Lake
- "Stochasti-City" - by Tobias Buckell
- "The Red in the Sky is Our Blood" - by Elizabeth Bear
- "Utere Nihil Non Extra Quiritationem Suis" - by John Scalzi
- "To Hie from Far Celenia" - by Karl Schroeder
I look forward to finally getting my hands on this for a reasonable price!
